• At this time in his career, Manilow had only reached the Top 20 in the UK one other time, with his seminal 1971 hit, "Mandy." After "Bermuda Triangle" hit #15, he accomplished the feat a few more times with "Let's Hang On!" (#12), "I Wanna Do It With You" (#8), and "Read 'Em And Weep" (#17).
• Fleetwood Mac also sang about the mysterious vortex on "The Bermuda Triangle," sans any holiday shenanigans, for their 1974 Heroes Are Hard To Find album.
