Songfacts®:

  • This is the title track and lead single of Building 429's sixth album. The lyrics are an encouragement for listeners to erase fear, stand firm and believe in a God who cannot be shaken. They reference Psalm 62v2, which states: "He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will never be shaken." Frontman Jason Roy explained: "We really felt like we wanted to make a record that said, 'Stand up! You have been called. We are God's children. Who can stand against what God has begun?' That's really our perspective. His strength is made perfect in our weakness. This record says, 'Hey, let's go! Let's do this. God is going to use us and we're not going to fail."
