• This is the first single from the extended version of British rapper Dizzee Rascal's fourth studio album, Tongue N' Cheek. Rascal told BBC's Newsbeat program: "It's just like a massive party record, massive summer tune. It does what it says on the tin."
• The song features vocals and percussion by 2009 X Factor contestant Daniel Pearce, who previously reached the final of Popstars: The Rivals as part of boyband One True Voice in 2002. Rascal said: "He did backing vocals for me once then he stepped forward to do Dance Wiv Me and Holiday. I heard him and thought I needed a vocalist for the next track - that's how that happened."
• The song samples the 1972 Staple Singers track, "I'll Take You There."
• The NME asked Rascal if he's gone disco for 2010. He replied: "I've not gone disco totally, man, it's just for this song. The chance to do a disco tune came up so I grabbed it. I like to f--k around with different types of music, going where the mood takes me. When it feels right, I do it, off the cuff. "
• The song debuted on the UK Singles Chart at #1 on 30 May 2010, marking Dizzee Rascal's fourth chart-topper. This meant that the British rapper became the first male solo artist to have four #1 songs from the same album. The track, along with his previous chart topping hits "Dance Wiv Me," "Bonkers" and "Holiday" all feature on the extended version of Rascal's 2009 album Tongue N' Cheek.
• In the song's music video, Rascal and his friends enter a quiet disco club and get the party started. He told The NME about the clip: "There's no Saturday Night Fever influence. That's not John Travolta strutting, that's me, wearing a £2,000 Gucci suit. The moves are more influenced by You Don't Mess With The Zohan (2008 Adam Sandler film), Keep an eye out for the models-I chose them. The video's about being able to have a good time wherever you go, whether it's a club or a church hall."
