  • When FKA Twigs tentatively sent The Weeknd a text asking him to feature on her song "Tears In The Club," she was pleasantly surprised when he agreed.

The Canadian superstar's willingness to join Twigs on her tune gave her the confidence to reach out to other artists she wished to work with. The boost prompted the English singer to write this song about having the courage to ask for what she wants.

Tell yourself you love you so
Lay down your fears, baby, ain't nobody die from a no

Other artists to make guest appearances on Caprisongs include British rapper Pa Salieu, Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar, and English songbird Jorja Smith. "One thing I have learned on this album is that you're not going to die from asking a question or hearing 'no,'" Twigs told Variety. "If you want something, go and get it."
  • Twigs co-wrote the song with the Californian producer Jasper Harris (Baby Keem's "Family Ties," Juice WRLD's "Rich and Blind") and frequent Rosalia collaborator El Guincho ("Con Altura," "Lo Vas a Olvidar").
  • Twigs co-produced "Lightbeamers" with El Guincho. Kanye West's go-to production collaborator, Mike Dean, mixed the track.
