Songfacts®:

  • The first single from Jennifer Lopez' tenth album was produced by RedOne and features Cuban-American rapper Pitbull. The same trio previously collaborated on Lopez's 2011 hit "On The Floor," and on 2012's "Dance Again." Pitbull references them collaborating again when he raps: "We don't believe in defeat, what's why we're back for a threepeat."
  • The song was premiered on May 8, 2013 and Lopez performed the song for the first time on the American Idol finale a week later.
  • The party-themed track features a prominent EDM breakdown, breaking new ground for Lopez. "You have to evolve," she told UK newspaper The Daily Telegraph. "I want to be the artist people know me as, but I also want to be me today – with all the experiences I've been through."
