Songfacts®:

  • This song features Columbian performer Reyko, who is considered one of the biggest proponents of the reggaeton music genre. Speaking with Pitchfork, Uchis revealed why she created the track.

"I never like to work on a song that feels [too rooted in] genre," she said. "Reykon has a lot of influence on the culture in Colombia, so since I wanted to do something for Colombia, that's where I had to start. I felt like I needed to explore that part of myself too, because being Colombian-American is such a big part of who I am and has always been part of my music, my art, my inspiration, my aesthetic, everything."
  • This is the only Isolation track that is fully sung in Spanish, although Kali Uchis sings a few phrases in Spanish on other songs such as "Tyrant" and "Tomorrow."
