Songfacts®:

  • "Send Her to Heaven" was written by All-American Rejects frontman Tyson Ritter and Rivers Cuomo of Weezer. It marks the second collaboration between the two; they first joined forces on the 2009 Weezer track "Put Me Back Together" along with Rejects guitarist Nick Wheeler.
  • To capture the guitar-driven energy of the song, The All-American Rejects recorded the tune with producer Tony Hoffer (Beck, OK Go) in a live setting. By doing this, they recaptured the dynamic of the band's early days.
