  • Here, Tion Wayne hooks up with his fellow Londoner M24 for a drill track. The pair spray their verses with one-liners about international women, wealth, and warnings to their opps. Wayne's chorus finds him knocking on an enemy's door armed with a Glock semi-automatic pistol.
  • Wayne and M24 previously collaborated on M24's 2019 single "London." They'd been talking for a while about doing another song together. "I came up with the idea for the chorus in my car," Wayne told Apple Music. "Only a couple of beats. But I said to M, 'Yo, trust me, this should be the one.'"
  • Tion Wayne dropped "Knock Knock" on February 17, 2022. Its release came two months after M24's release from prison after serving three months for knife possession. As a former inmate himself, Wayne wanted to show his support. "We delayed doing the track for a while because M had just come out of prison, so I was gassed that we could come back out with a banker," he said. "I know how that is. I've done my time. For me, to come back out and go straight back into the business, it's important how you capitalize."
  • Frank Ampomah and Andy Broski produced the hard-hitting drill heater. It represented the first placement on a hit song for both beatmakers.
