Songfacts®:

  • Freaky Deaky" finds Tyga hooking up with Doja Cat as they take turns to discuss their sexual inclinations. The kinky pop-rap track marks the second collaboration between the California rappers. Back in 2019, Tyga featured on the remix of Doja Cat's "Juicy." He references the song at the end of his second verse.

She never was a freak and she said, "You made me"
    Forever, forever, ever, juicy, baby
  • Tyga and Doja Cat wrote the song with its producers B Ham, Ryan OG, Dr. Luke & Mike Crook. Dr. Luke is a regular Doja collaborator; he and Mike Crook previously worked together on her "Like That" track. Ryan OG works with rappers like Coi Leray ("Blick Blick") and pop-rock groups such as Maroon 5 ("Nobody's Love"). He teamed up with B Ham for the latter track.

Suzanne Vega also gets a writing credit because the chorus interpolates her song "Tom's Diner."
  • Christian Breslauer shot the sexually charged video that shows Tyga and Doja acting out some of their fantasies. The South Florida director previously worked with Doja on her "Streets" clip. His other credits include Lil Nas X's "Industry Baby" and Lizzo's "About Damn Time."
