Acid Rain

  • Our day has come
    It's drawn in the sky
So don't shead a tear now
    Be thankful for the time

Life wouldn't be so precious dear if there never was an end

Children still play in the garden
Dance as the sun slips away

We stand on the edge now
    We've come so far
Through all the dust it becomes clear
You will always be my heart

There's no death, no end of time when I'm facing it with you

Children still play in the garden
Dance as the sun slips away
    Not even stars last forever
    Cleanse us Acid rain

    Stand near to me
    Don't look be brave
    Over the blackened moon
    I'll carry you away
    Through the planets we fly

Children still play in the garden
Dance as the sun slips away
    Not even stars last forever
    Cleanse us Acid rain

  • Brotha from Around The WayConnor you're literally just wrong haha
  • EvanWhat does it mean when they say cleanse us as it rain
  • Fandi from Medan, IndonesiaThis song is a song that I really love about avenged sevenfold.
It can make me cry also.
  • Connor from British ColumbiaThis song is clearly about mushroom clouds. It's about end of days, depopulation and ww3. Sorry, that's what it's about.
  • Diane Jackson from UkIt is so strange but just after we lost our two dogs, (they were pts together at the same time due to ill health), this song just kept coming on my ipod repeatedly even though there are over 2000 songs on there. So much so that I got the lyrics, from this website as I was sure someone, somewhere was trying to tell me something through this song. I feel sure that it was a message from my two friends that they were together and it had had to be that way and they were still together in the next life. An amazing song but needless to say, it always makes me cry.
  • Crystal from Peru IndianaI start bawling when I hear this song not because its sad really but because its a message of hope promise and love that we will get to see our loved ones soon that they are not dead or gone really we are just temporarily separated from them
love you mike and chris camp and smitty-crystal McIntosh
