  • Arrivederci, Roma
    Goodbye, goodbye to Rome
City of a million moon lit faces
City of a million warm embraces
Where I found the one of all the faces
    Far from home

    Arrivederci, Roma
Save the wedding bells for my returning
Keep my lover's arms outstretched and yearning
Please be sure the flame of love keeps burning
    In her heart

    Arrivederci, Roma
It's time for us to part
Save the wedding bells for my returning
Keep my lover's arms outstretched and yearning
Please be sure the flame of love keeps burning
In her heart Writer/s: Allessandro Giovannini, Carl Sigman, Pietro Garinei, Renato Ranucci

  • George from Belleville, NjOn the back of the album in the liner notes,it was said that there is nobody around who can sing an Italian love song the way Dean Martin can. They were right.Upon hearing this song, you could tell that it is a perfect blend of singer and song. These are the kind of songs that were made for Dean.He had that certain relaxed charm and style that brought warmth and solid listening pleasure. There are a lot of great Italian singers, but Dean had a unique ability to bring out the best in this music.Listening to this rendition makes you feel like you're in Italy on a hill overlooking the sea.
